My furry ones
Here I am, happy, surrounded by my furry friends. Although I was born in the city, I grew up between the town, the countryside and animals. That contrast between the urban and the natural shaped the way I felt about the world.
Whenever I found a sick, lost or frightened animal, I ended up spending a few days at my grandparents' house. My mother and grandmother had infinite patience... and my grandfather always supported me with a knowing smile.
He was the one who taught me to love the countryside, to respect animal life, to cycle around the village and, yes, also to practise shooting with a pellet gun.
These memories are part of my identity: a childhood that was free, curious and deeply connected to nature.
I always wanted to be a veterinarian, but life took me in a different direction. For years I worked with technology, “little machines”, instead of little hearts. However, I never got away from animals. They have always been there, guiding my decisions and bringing me back to basics.
